Enrico Caruso (,[1],[2][3][4]Italian:[enˈriːkokaˈruːzo]; 25 February – 2 August ) was an Italian operatic first lyric tenor then dramatic tenor.

Early life
Enrico Caruso came from a poor but not destitute background.
